SALEM is a hip-hop influenced dark electronic trio from Chicago/New York. Their music reaches from half tempo rap to chilled out dark droning, echoing vocals, backed by drawn out synths and ghetto drum beats. The result is almost scary, but draws you back every time for more.

Animal Collective released a new video for Brothersport, directed by Jack Kubizne. Its a fantastic mix up of psychedelic animation and fantasy childlike imagery, and its completely over saturated.

Colouring Of Pigeons

For those who think that The Knife isn't weird enough yet, here we have a track from their collaborative project Tomorrow, In A Year, a Hotel Pro Forma production, with Mt. Sims and Planningtorock. Tommorow, in a Year is an electro-opera performance based on Charles Darwin's Origin of Species. Why? No idea, but I'm sure Darwin would be pissin his pants about this, what with weird dancers and lights and whatnot. The eleven minute track is a host of operatic elements with dark percussion and melody. Its pretty creepy, but Dreijer elements flow strong throughout, making it a must-listen. I'd say the video is a stretch though. Sorry Charles.

Lovvers is a lo-fi noise pop set from Nowhereville, or the UK, whichever you see it as. Kinda like Times New Viking meets Wavves, but not so drowned out in white noise. Lovvers' OCD Go Go Go Girls makes you feel like snorting your little brothers Adderoll and doing donuts in your elementary school's dim parking lot. Its loud, noisy, addictive, and bound to piss off your friends.
